A little Rocky Top in Richmond

Danielle and I were walking through Carytown today when we heard music to our ears.  Two local artists were playing Rocky top with a kuzoo, spoons, an old washing board, and a lot of spirit!  The little girl in the video was adorable dancing around and singing along.  Rocky top found its way to Richmond! Hearing it made me miss Tennessee so much! Go Vols!

Bicycle Finds

What a great bargain find! I was in Goodwill (one of my favorite stores) the other day and found these great bicycle wall art pieces.  The large one was $3.99 and the small one was $2.99.  They look great hanging in our bar area.  Goodwill trip = success.

Handmade Save the Dates

We are getting married Oct 22, 2011! Yahoo!! While our spirits are high our  budget is low!! To save money I made all our save the dates. I saved about $150.00 and they mean so much to me! A quick list of the supplies I used: *Recollections cards * Daisy Doodles orange flowers *LOTS of scraps of orange and other paper scraps * staples *alphabet stamps * assorted letter stickers by Making Memories and Cosmo Cricket *Black stamp pad * Mini pictures printed at Target * Adhesive squares * Black Zig Marker

Here are the flowers and a few of the scraps of paper I used.  The flowers are Daisy Doddles they are from Michaels and cost about $4 each. The short container comes with 36 large orange flowers and the tall container comes with a TON of little orange flowers in different shades and sizes.

Here are the photos we used! I went to Target and printed 4 small pictures per 4x6 sheet. It was about $8 total! Great deal!

Here are some of the letter stickers.  I used all kinds of small letter stickers.  The two brands I used the most were Tiny Types by Cosmo Cricket and Makin Memories small type writer letters.  I also used stamps to make it look more unique. The stamp set is from Target, I got it a couple of years ago in the dollar section.

Finished product! They were super fun and easy to make!
